You never get a second chance
to make a first impression.

Business owners realize that
and they work hard to make their shops, offices and establishments
as tidy and presentable as possible.

They spend hours cleaning windows,
planting trees and flowers, creating lovely displays and erecting
elegant signage --only to have their businesses' appearances
marred with unsightly litter.

The GACC Clean-up and Beautification
Committee is coordinating a drive to purchase and install attractive,
commercial trash receptacles on Main Street and Carol Malone
Boulevard in Grayson.

The aim is to provide people
with an appropriate place to dispose of their refuse and thereby
do their part to help keep our streets
clean.

The sturdy, outdoor receptacles
that have been selected will be uniform in size and style and
will complement their surroundings. At present, the cost per
unit is approximately $295.00. Businesses, groups and individuals
are encouraged to donate funds toward the purchase of the receptacles.

When a donation is made to the
project, the name of the donor will be affixed to a receptacle
indicating the donor's support of cleaner streets for our community.

We hope you will endorse this
goal to clean up the city's streets by making a $50 or $100 donation
toward the purchase of the containers. If you would prefer, you
may donate the entire cost of a receptacle and that unit will
be placed in front of your business.
