"Big Darn Deal" Raffle is a hit
The 2006 Bash and Bash Bonus Concert
were the hit of the festival season for those
ticket-carrying thousands who enjoyed some
fun in the Kentucky sunshine this past
weekend.
Campers can arrive on Wednesday
"Camperville" -- the settlement full of Bash-
goers at the fairgrounds -- will start
assembling on Wednesday. You must
meet with the campground host prior to
setting up. The host will give you your pass
and authorization to be on the grounds.
Sept. 1, 2006 is last day for tickets
The last day to purchase tickets for the
2006 Summer Bash will be Friday, Sept. 1.
The cut-off date is set to allow ample time
to get the tickets verified and added to the
bash database. Avoid the crush and long
lines at outlets -- purchase before the
deadline.
Only 1,000 Bash Bonus tix available
The Bash bonus tickets have added more
fun and prize opportunity to the event and
they are NEARLY SOLD OUT! Most ticket
buyers are opting to purchase at least two
bonus tickets good for the Friday night
drawings and for entry to the concerts.
Tickets sold climbs too fast to count
With outlets all over the tri-state area selling
tickets fast and furious -- the amount of Bash
tickets available changes every hour.
Summer Bash 2006 gets greenlight
The announcement that the Bash is on
leads to an avalanche of last minute ticket
purchases. Be patient if you get a busy
signal when you call the Chamber office
or a ticket outlet.
Bash 'Decision Day' ticket count met
"D-Day" is "Decision Day" for the Summer
Bash. That's the date when the committee
must determine if the ticket threshold to
hold the event has been met. The BASH
IS ON! Get your extra ticket NOW while
they last. Remember, only 10,000 will be
sold.

G' Day! Bash fliers and tickets
are going everywhere! Ticket sold
in Australia
As the "Spread the Word" promotion gears
up to sell the remaining tickets, it seems
that the Summer Bash is gaining world-wide
appeal. For the time being, tickets remain
available on the internet and sales are
extending way, way past the 50 states...!
Ireland and Australia have logged ticket
sales.
"Last Chance"
Drawing makes for fun at Bluegrass Festival
The "Last Chance" drawing for $5,000
was drawn at the Carter County
Shrine Bluegrass Festival in Olive Hill, Ky.
on July 15, 2006. This drawing marked the
last opportunity for ticket buyers to rake
in cash for purchasing tickets before June
30.

Early Bird Drawing big
hit at parade
The "Early Bird" drawing drew lots of
attention as the Bash Parade entries came
to a halt at Main Street & Hord Street and
a winner was selected from those tickets
purchased before May 15, 2006! The
Memory Days Parade is a cornerstone of
the Memorial Weekend Festivities in Grayson.
CONGRATULATIONS TO

Marty Stuart and Blackhawk set

ever seen! Camp, tailgate, whatever! Just

Bonus ticket stub or Bash ticket
needed to enter concert

ticket stub to enter the concert on Friday
night! Either one will gain the over-18-year

HUGE success. (After Friday night, the bonus

the Bash venue.)

Olive Hill or Ashland to reach it. Or try the
